Well here we are on a Saturday morning snowed in. (Well as snowed in as you can get here in NC. Except that time 10 years ago when it was 27 inches…) All day yesterday I could feel my anxiety coming over this pending snow. Here were my concerns.

1.I can’t drive well on a normal day. Throw in snow.. um no! 2. I work at a year round school, left my old job because of weekend responsibilties, and my cousin is planning on visiting. SO the thought of Saturday make up… once again NO. 3. Basically I get cabin fever.

Anyways, I was however looking forward to taking Henderson out in the snow and doing all the activities that I did in Maryland with snow. In fact I found pictures from the Blizzard of 1983 in Maryland which is cool because I am the same age as Henderson in them. All in all the anxiety I was feeling is gone and now I’m a little disappointed I can see the top of my grass. We did however go and brave the ice and Adam and Henderson did some sledding. Our street is perfect for it.

As the days has gone by the ice looks scarier and scarier, and I’d actually rather not think about it because the thought of driving out there freaks me out!!!!
